My Carnivore Journey So Far

It’s been a little over a week. I’m down -8 lbs and I feel AMAZING! First couple days I did have detox headache but it’s gone now. So far so good. I no longer have sugar cravings like I did. My brain fog is completely gone and I have even more energy then I did before!

If you decide to try it just know that carnivores are doing the exact opposite of all mainstream nutritional recommendations so get ready to get some heat from people 🙂

Super Easy Egg Salad

I LOVE a good egg salad. I’m very picky what’s in it so I love to make my own. Here is a super easy recipe I use.

Ingredients:

8 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. whole grain mustard
1/2 stalk of chopped celery, minced
2 tbsp. finely chopped chives

Instructions:

* First off you need to boil your eggs. I put them in my Air Fryer at 270 degrees for 15 min and BAM! Beautiful “boiled” eggs!

* Roughly chop hard-boiled eggs and transfer to a medium bowl. Mash slightly with a fork to break up yolks.
* Add mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, celery and chives and mix until evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper.

Why Self Care is Important?

Those are my footsteps and that sand. Yesterday I woke up feeling a little off, I was all over the place my mind couldn’t settle. 

Something was telling me to go to the beach. ALONE. It felt weird at first since I always go with someone but you know what? It was amazing. I meditated. I soaked in the ocean, I walked the beach and I even ended up meeting up with a friend that was just a short walk away from me. 

When it was time to go back home, I felt refreshed and so relaxed. 

Self-care is very important not only for yourself but for your family to. When you feel relaxed everyone around you feels relaxed to. 

Tips for in inner self care:

  • Unplug 
  • Journal 
  • Meditate 
  • Make a date with yourself. Spend a little time alone and something that you love, that makes you relaxed that nourishes your soul.
  • Take a nap
  • Go for a walk, ALONE 

Once you start practicing those things you will feel amazing and you will be a better version of yourself.
